The State Industries Department has revealed that 8077 new Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) were started in the past two years in Haryana. The units attracted an investment of over Rs 9,248 crore and employ over 1, 36,689 people. 60 large and medium industrial units were also started in the state during the same period with an investment of Rs 2,437 crore. These units have employed 18,070 persons during the same period. The government had established Common Facility Centers (CFCs) in Public-Private-Partnership mode to boost MSMEs in the state. Two tool rooms are also being setup in the state with Rs 100 crore each.
